L'abbevilloise, aux portes de la Baie de Somme

The apartment had everything we needed for a one night stay. It was clean and comfortable and handy for the town centre. Nice loittle outside area at tghe back.There was on street parking and we managed to park fairly close.

Communication from the host was pleasant and quick. There was free on road parking and a short walk to the beautiful town centre and local amenities, namely a budget friendly supermarket 5 mins walk away. Our group consisted of my husband and our 3 children (9,10,13) & we all absolutely loved this place. It was immaculately clean, fresh towels and bedding and just a great all round feel. The courtyard to the rear of the property is gorgeous with a table and seating, great for an evening meal or a glass of wine. There is no television here, which we loved. We played a selection of board games provided by the host, some of which helped the children with their French! The stairways to the 1st & 2nd floors are slightly steep and narrow, something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues, but it was fine for us. The shower (dual rainfall/regular) was a good size with lovely hot water. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was ground coffee, sugar and a selection of teas, alongside oil & salt etc. The electric blind in the master bedroom was great to keep the heat out until it cools in the evening. We stayed here on our outbound and return journeys as a stopover and I would very happily stay again and highly recommend to anyone.

Perfect choice for a family stay, charming town, spacious house, comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, clean and cozy. The outdoor terrace is a nice plus. Located only 150 m from a bakery and free parking is possible right under the windows. Baie de Somme is a nature heaven worth a visit. Very kind host.

Good central location. Clean. Good shower. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious. Plenty of electrical sockets.

Clearly this property is a "works in progress". Mattress on double bed sagged in middle therefore very uncomfortable. Spare pillows stained. No television. Seats adequate. Towel rail not secured to the wall. Entrance hall unwelcoming and smelled of damp laundry. No literature regarding local restaurants (this would be most useful for first time and tired visitors).
