Tan-Y-Fron Holiday Park

A very clean, nice homely place to stay. From the appearance you can see it is a very well run site. It is also very well situated for the town centre and the largest supermarket in the town is very close by.

Booking.com did not communicate to the owner my arrival time although it confirmed it to me, so I am not sure what happened there. Also Booking.com did not tell me a refundable cash deposit was required when I made the booking. I only found out the day before from the site owner when I received a text, so its a good job the owner sent me a text

The campsite was close to Dolgallau, which was the main reason for our stay, The food in The Torrent inn pub is excellent. The campsite had excellent wifi and an enormous bed.

We had to get £100 cash out as a deposit? Which was a little odd, they didn't have a card reader and demanded cash on arrival? The shower was slow and very intermittent. The kettle was loud and bleeped when you used it or put it back on the stand and as it was basically outside the bedroom door this woke up anyone sleeping if you wanted a late night or early morning hot drink. I didn't like the bedroom being basically underground, due to the way it's built into the hillside.

Like new and very very clean 👌This was important for me and my family

Hmmm the only criticism is probably the WiFi but the weather wasn’t too kind during our stay so it made it worse probably

Bungalow was perfect, very clean, comfy, had everything you needed. Location was great, checking in was easy. It was 5 mins walk to the nearby town and brilliantly located for getting to where we needed.

Nothing that we didn’t like
