Lovely stay

The property was easy to access with no issues, nice cosy and everything you need, shower was excellent lovely and hot, nice little walk to a lovely little village for food literally 4min walk. Did the Mawddach trail great walk to Barmouth and back great views along the way. We went to Y Sospan little restaurant in village the food was lovely, staff great and friendly. We had breakfast at Popty’r Dref excellent. All in all great stay

A cosy special snuggly place to stay 😁

The Snowdonia Snug was clean, inviting and comfortable. There had been a lot of thought put into all the little extras that make a self catering stay comfortable - iron & ironing board, hairdryer, plenty of plug points, teatowels, toilet rolls, flannels ( & lots of towels) parking next to the accommodation as well as some lovely little treats that make you feel cared for.

Great location, clean and good communication throughout

Its location was ideal for the charity event we travelled for. The host was extremely accommodating. Super clean and cosy and all that we needed for our stay was there

Lovely studio

This was such a great find- the perfect location for exploring the area, and lovely to come back to at the end of a day's walking. Clean, cosy, well equipped and with lots of little touches to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend.

Perfect home from home.

Perfect little home from home for a couple. Snug but more spacious than we had imagined. All the facilities we needed. No oven or freezer as stated but a hob and microwave and places to eat out just a short walk down the road. Easy parking and completely private. We didn’t meet the hosts but they kept in touch by phone/text with information and offering help if needed. Highly recommended.

Warm, cozy and lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Snowdonia Snug last week! The place was beautifully decorated, warm, and incredibly cosy — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We also appreciated the off-road parking, and the stunning views from the house were a real highlight. The surroundings were peaceful and calm, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind in a charming and comfortable spot in Snowdonia!

Enjoyable stay

Well presented with excellent use of the available space with tasty treats, a great shower and convenient parking (a bonus when staying in the Dolgellau).

The only thing that surprised us, and not in good way, was the noise from the passing traffic in the middle of the night. It was by no means constant but was surprisingly frequent and invariably at high speed the extent it kept us awake waiting for the next vehicle to whizz by.

Perfect little getaway!

Compact little snug, had absolutely everything we needed and lovely little touched of cakes left for us! The shower and bathroom were especially luxurious. Owners really good at communicating via text, which suited me, and they even gave us a weather update!

The snug was a delightful little place with everything you needed, bed was really comfortable,the host was very informative, the town was a couple of minutes walk with great pubs and lovley food, locals really friendly, will definitely return again

The location was good, it was a self catering accommodation but had all the relevant equipment needed for cooking

Didn’t have Bedside lights beside the bed and only provided small plates could do with larger dinner plates

- Good location for the town - A lot of effort has gone in to making the interior look and smell nice - Nice lighting

- No one has mentioned that the bed squeaks with the slightest touch, even without laying down on it. - After looking at the house next door I could not shake the feeling that I was staying in a converted garage. Poor sound insulation: Did not feel private. - TV not large enough for human eyes

Snug was spotless and suitable for 2 people . It had everything we needed and the stove in the cupboard worked great.

I suppose maybe a couple chairs and side table outside would of been an added bonus. However this had no bearing on our stay.

Very enjoyable

Very clean, spacious, good location, nice touch by having welcoming ferrero roche on pillow. Also Welsh cakes and millionaire cookies was a suprise. Well kitted out. Comfortable bed, nice pillows.

Taps, in bathroom sink, were marked in correctly, i.e. hot was marked cold and cold hot Although host message stated, looking forward to welcoming you on arrival, we never saw them once during our stay.

Absolutely wonderful stay

The location was perfect - close to the mountains, Mawddach Trail and town for lovely pubs, cafes and gift shopping. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished and everything very comfortable and had all that I could need regarding cutlery etc. Excellent shower, which was much appreciated after a long day in the mountains. Lots of information via text and any questions quickly answered. It was an absolutely wonderful stay and was definitely very sad to be leaving but look forward to being back again and hopefully in the near future.

A cosy and extremely clean property in a lovely area. Hosts were fantastic and the welcome treats were much appreciated by us. The Snug is well equipped and beautifully decorated with well thought out personal touches. The view from the front door is wonderful. It’s a short walk into town where there are plenty of places to eat out.
