A pleasant, clean, well equipped cottage in a great location

Very clean and a great base location. Nicely furnished. Panel heaters warmed the cottage up quickly., nice and cosy. Quiet and peaceful. Parking permit very useful. Would definitely book again if in this area.

Lack of banister at the bend on the bottom of the stairs. No, problem for most people but I have a slight mobility issue, so personal. A bread knife and colander would have been useful, apart from which the kitchen was well equipped .

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful town

A lovely , cosy cottage in a friendly and beautiful little town. The location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. Dolgellau had everything there to meet our needs, including eateries, bakeries, pubs, and lots of other shops and walking places. The cottage was clean and was well kitted out, and Jane was in touch throughout the stay, making sure everything was ok with us.

A lovely cottage to escape the everyday hustle and bustle

What a lovely little cottage. It had everything we could of wished for and is in a lovely little town. It's a great base if you want to explore more of the area, just over an hour to Snowdon and a great place to start many hikes including the Mawddach Trail. The local town was lovely. It has a handful of local pubs, which we tried a few, a couple of Spars and a Coop less than a 2mins walk away. There is a decent Chinese at the end of the road, literally 30 second walk. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is what you need. A handy parking permit is included in your booking for the local rugby club a short stoll from the cottage. Would definitely come back here again.

Something you should be aware of if you plan on booking is the parking arrangements for the cottage. It's located on a very narrow, dead end lane. Local residents park on the lane, so this leaves only just enough room for one more car to access the lane. There is a parking permit included in your booking for the local rugby club a short stoll from the cottage. I would highly recommend reversing down the lane to the cottage to unload your belongings before heading to the rugby club with the permit which is found inside the cottage.

Amazing welcoming place to stay!

Beautiful property with many extra touches. Very clean, towels were beautiful! Coffee provided, great communication from hot who was most accommodating. Great location, happy hour at one pub- 6-8, big co op close by, the best bakery ever around the corner- pies and cake were exceptional! Definitely grab fish and chips from the local chippy- nicest we’ve ever had!! Some amazing walks close by, parking permit provided which means we never had to move or even use our car for the whole stay! Would definitely go back!

Nothing at all, if I had to choose one thing it would be the loud music and voices from neighbours which could be heard very clearly. This wasn’t ongoing and was just one night, not playing late

Lived up to all the great the reviews

This is a great place to stay. Clean, well presented and equipped with really a comfy bed. The coffee machine is a nice touch, too. Would definitely stay again

Note to host - those 'Caramel Latte Macchiato' coffee (??) pods were shocking! Will bring real coffee when we come back. Seriously though, couldn't fault it.
