The apartment was beautiful and clean, great location. Plenty of room for my partner and son and a washing machine which was great! The host was lovely and met us at check in, showed us around the apartment. Highly recommend!

We were able to check in early for €35 more which helped us to catch up on some sleep. Matteo was responsive and reached out to us before we arrived to know our arrival time and provide early check in info

It was a bit difficult to find the place as there’s no sign outside the building. We asked the bakery owner next door and she helped us locate the property.

Discover Donatello is located in Piazzale Donatello, about 1 mile (a comfortable 20-minute walk) from the Duomo. There are also plenty of nearby bus lines, and Florence’s public transport system is easy to use, with contactless payment available on board. The neighborhood is quiet at night but lively during the day, with a nice selection of local shops including a bar, bakery, hairdresser, and more. It feels authentic and convenient without being crowded. The apartment itself has been recently refurbished. It features an open-plan living area with a kitchen, dining table, and a sofa bed, all facing a pleasant courtyard. There is also a spacious bedroom and a modern bathroom with a powerful rain shower. Everything is well equipped, from quality crockery and glassware to practical amenities like a reliable washing machine, two very quiet air conditioning units, and two TVs—one of them a large screen in the bedroom. What truly made the stay stand out was the exceptional service provided by Matteo. He is professional, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests have a smooth and comfortable experience. He went above and beyond, even accommodating an early check-In And, in a particularly busy moment, he went out of his way to assist us in finding a taxi to the train station. I wholeheartedly recommend Discover Donatello for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay after a full day exploring Florence or Tuscany.

My aunt and I have really enjoyed our stay in Discover Donatello, the apartment is even better in real life than on the listing. The apartment is newly renovated, clean and has everything you need. The small details like coffee capsules and washing powder for the washing machine made it better than perfect, as in other apartments you always have to run out for those kind of things. The outside terrace is also very lovely. And the location is great to explore the city — close to the city centre. We’ve also really appreciated the host being very responsive, friendly and caring, the tips from them were also very helpful, and the cafes recommended were awesome. And finally, it was very nice to check in earlier :) Overall, I’d highly recommend this flat and will gladly stay there again :)

The hair dryer can be a little more powerful, for the long thick hair it was taking a little longer than usual.
