Rainforest cabin

It was magical! The whole experience was just amazing. The cabin is lovely, the view is stunning, the fireflies at night were an absolute bonus to it all. We stayed for two night with our two children and they also loved it. We did a tour in the sinharaja rainforest which we also loved. The meals were so delicious and we were so well looked after. We would highly recommend staying at this unique stay!

Just good to know there can be leaches in the shrubs. They have salt and leach socks that you can borrow. Doesn’t take away from the experience but good to know when visiting.

Tolle Lage inmitten von Teeplantagen mit einer Wahnsinns-Aussicht und abends Glühwürmchen-Wonderland. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr lecker. Im nahegelegenen Rainforest kann man jede Menge abenteuerliche Tiere sehen: Spinnen, Schlangen, Hundert- und Tausendfüßler und sehr viele Blutegel. Der Zugang zur Unterkunft: man muss durch zwei Flüsse durch. Das sollte man wissen. Auch die Straße ist am Ende eher schlecht.

Een super gave accommodatie op een fantastische locatie, omringd door theeplantages. Heel rustig gelegen, prachtige omgeving, je ziet de apen en vuurvliegjes vanaf je terras. Je moet 2 kleine riviertjes oversteken, maar je wordt met een tuk tuk opehaald en ze nemen je bagage op de brommer voor je mee de rivier over. Zowel het ontbijt, lunch als het avondeten is heerlijk. We stayed here for two nights, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest welcome from Ravindra and his parents. They are incredibly kind and always happy to help with anything you need. Ravindra's mother prepares the most delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. We were served more than enough at every meal. They also thought of every little detail: a welcome drink, snacks for our rainforest tour, plenty of drinking water, and so much more. The short walk through the water to reach the accommodation was a unique and charming experience. We wore our flip-flops, which worked perfectly, and our luggage was transported for us. If you want to experience authentic local life, this is the perfect place to stay. Hats off to Ravindra for creating such a beautiful accommodation where every detail has been carefully considered. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
