Rainforest Royal Heritage

We had an absolutely incredible stay and loved everything about this place! The location is great, the food prepared by Isuru is delicious and the bedroom amenities are super comfortable (we got some of the best sleep of our trip here). What really made our stay unforgettable, though, was the wonderful team. Thank you so much to the brothers Mahesh and Randimal and 'chef' Isuru. Your incredible warmth, attention to detail, genuine care and quick responsiveness made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. We are so grateful for your unmatched hospitality!🙏 A special thanks also to Wijitha, who was a fantastic guide for our trip booked by the accommodation to the Sinharaja Rainforest Park! We will absolutely be recommending this place to anyone visiting the area and hopefully we will be back one day! Thank you millions! 😀

The hosts were the kindest people ever they made us feel comfortable straight away, I even told them that it was our anniversary and they decorated the room very beautifully ! The meals we had there were super tasty especially the coconut honey pancaques were superb still craving rn cus I hadn’t had such good ones anywhere else. The room of course is super cute but you can tell from the pictures haha !

The only thing that’s not perfect is maybe that it wasn’t as close to the rainforest entrance as I thought but it’s still really great !!!

Das Haus ist liegt etwa 10 Gehminuten vom Sinharaja Forest Eingang entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind nett & bemüht und haben für uns eine tolle Regenwaldtour arrangiert. Der Guide wohnt direkt nebenan und ist sehr erfahren! Er konnte uns diverse Tiere zeigen, an denen wir ohne ihn einfach stumpf vorbeigelaufen wären :-)

Die Fotos von der Unterkunft vermitteln den Eindruck, als würde man ein Haus direkt in der Wildnis buchen (weit weg von allen anderen) dem ist jedoch nicht so! Ich behaupte mal, es wurde sehr "geschickt" fotografiert. Um das Haus herum sind andere Häuser und Hotels und vom Balkon aus guckt man eher aufs nächste Haus, als in die Wildnis. Das Grundstück vor dem Haus sieht aus wie eine unfertige Baustelle, überall liegen Steine & Krempel rum und ein schönen Garten gibt es auch nicht- bzw. der ist wohl noch in Arbeit, wir hatten hier etwas mehr erwartet. Was wir wirklich schade fanden waren die ganzen Flecken im Fußboden des Hauses und auf dem Tisch des Balkons. Hier hatten wir den Eindruck, als wenn der Boden seit Fertigstellung des Hauses nie wieder nass gewischt wurde! Ebenso die Fenster, die z.T. so voller Grünspan waren, das man kaum noch durchsehen konnte. Hier hätte man mit wenig Arbeitsaufwand viel erreichen können, aber so empfanden wir das schon fast als Beleidigung der Gastfreundschaft, denn ICH hätte meine Gäste da so nicht schlafen lassen.

Kamer was niet op tijd klaar terwijl dit ruim op tijd was gevraagd. Bij aankomst zaten 3 jongens op t balkon terwijl ze de kamer moesten schoonmaken. Geen werkwnde wifi verbinding, geen pinmachine dus 16km rijden om cash te halen.
