Staying here felt like stepping into the very soul of Cornwall. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Polperro, the cottage captures everything you hope for in a traditional coastal escape while delivering a level of comfort and finish that genuinely stands above many places I have stayed across Cornwall.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the shower was powerful and refreshing, and the kitchen was beautifully finished and fully equipped to a very high standard. It strikes the rare balance of character and quality, where historic charm meets modern living effortlessly.
One of my favourite memories was spending slow afternoons in the window seat, book in hand, watching the River Pol quietly drift past the cottage. Peaceful, timeless, and deeply relaxing.

It was functional with good facilities
Very dusty, was not cleaned very well. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee supplied.
