Fantastic location, just one building away from where the stream enters the harbour and right in the heart of the village. Well equipped kitchen and a nice size living room. Comfy mattress and a decent sized bed. Nice that the stream was directly to rear of the property and the double glazed windows shut out the noise adequately. Polperro itself was charming and relaxing with nice walks nearby. Parking for one space is included.

As has been said in other reviews, the property suffers from damp and has a musty smell, although this becomes less noticeable throughout the stay. The bedding and soft furnishings are cold and damp, although the bedding seemed to air out after a nights sleep. The corner in the living room was very damp and the power sockets to the TV looked dangerous as a result. Not than anything can be done, but the door frames are very low; I'm 5'10" despite trying to best to remember I managed to bang my head a few times on the sharp corners of the door frame. If you are 6' plus, prepare for a sore head. The property would benefit from a deep clean. The parking space is a fair way up a steep incline. Access is either through the village (which is not easy to negotiate in a larger car) or a few miles of single track roads. Of the two, I would recommend the approach using the single track road along Landaviddy Lane. Whilst we were OK, if you have any trouble with walking, especially up or down steep roads, I would recommend using the luggage taxi. The route to the public parking on the other side of the valley is relatively flat in comparison. Before departure, they ask you to strip the bedding and place it in a laundry bag together with the towels. However, upon removing the duvet cover, we discovered the white duvet was covered in yellow stains which was very unpleasant as we has slept in it during our stay.

its an unfortunate one due to the age, location and construction of the building there isnt really much they can do about it but there is a damp issue with the apartment. it creates a smell and dry clothes feel damp. on the plus side this didnt seem to effect the bedroom.

Laity was beautiful. Clean , tidy and very cozy. As soon as we entered the cottage it felt like home. Such a fab location , everything we needed within a very short walk. We would highly recommend staying here. But I dont want it to get too popular as we want to come back. 😁

The whole of the property needs a refurbishment A bit tatty in places that would benefit from some tittivation.
