In general I can highly recommend this place for stay in Catania. Although location is a bit outside the city center You still have metro station within 10mins walk. So You need to decide yourself if it fits You. For me(family stay) it was fine especially that you still have supermarkets and nice restaurants(including fast food) nearby. The flat itself was clean and equipped with all necessary amenities and very spacious (including 3 balconies).Heating worked perfectly well what is important in january. Outside area is quiet during the night. Very good and fast contact with the host. Easy access with clear instructions.

To be honest, everything was perfect. The beds and pillows were so comfortable that we wanted to take them home. Comfortable rooms, bathroom and kitchen. Everything works, everything is brand new. The metro is close, so it's a great base for trips. We took the metro to the central station and visited Syracuse and Aci Castello. The host responds lightning-fast and solves all problems even faster. A great place for traveling couples, but also for families because there is a lot of space. Three balconies, elevator, air conditioning. Everything was as described in the offer and we didn't hear any neighbors at all.

If you expect more for this money, you are either disorganized or a bit disconnected from reality.

The apartment itself was clean, modern, and basically well equipped. The TVs were new smart TVs with all the necessary features, which was a plus. There was plenty of storage space for clothes, including wardrobes, shelves, and bedside tables, so unpacking was easy. The kitchen had the essential equipment for cooking, and overall the interior felt new and well maintained. The area was relatively quiet, which helped with resting.

The surrounding neighborhood was dirty and unpleasant smelling, even if this is not directly the host’s fault. Mattress comfort varied a lot between the two bedrooms, one was extremely soft while the other was much firmer. The terraces were disappointing, the back terrace was run down with a poor view, and the front terraces were more like small step-out balconies facing other buildings. The hand shower was uncomfortable to use and it was difficult to set the right temperature and water pressure. The apartment was very cold during our December stay, with no proper heating system, only air conditioners. It was not communicated in advance that the air conditioners could not be used at the same time, otherwise the electricity would trip. Using two AC units, or an AC together with a hairdryer, easily caused a power outage, which was very inconvenient. The overall experience felt cold and impersonal, with a fully automated check-in, mandatory deposit, tourist and city taxes added on top. The online check-in and payment system was poorly translated into English, making it confusing to fill out. The building’s elevator was extremely small and impractical, with two manual doors and key usage on upper floors, barely fitting two people, let alone luggage. Parking was also a major issue, if you arrive by car or rent one, finding a spot is very difficult, at times we had to park several streets away, and the area does not feel particularly safe.
