Your Apartment Catania

Ik was heel erg tevreden dat er een dak terras aanwezig was.

De lift buiten het appartement. Had 2 liftdeuren naar binnen. Hierdoor moest ik de rolstoel 6 hoog maar boven tillen.

The apartment is clean and modern and everything works well. As can be seen from the photos, there is a huge terrace which is really nice. Another nice thing is that the apartment is not over-looked by any other building so it feels very private. The hosts were very polite, quick to respond and helpful. The location was good for us but obviously this aspect is subjective depending on what you want to do on your trip!

Nothing, really. If I have to be really, really picky, it would have been nice to have a couple of hooks in the bathroom. Also, a couple of things about the kitchen: the coffee machine was so-so and not particularly easy to use, the pans possibly need an upgrade and there was no tea towel. But these are really small details and the apartment is one of the best we’ve stayed in in Catania.

Close to the subway, with elevator access, the apartment was clean, nice design, terrace was great. The owner was very responsive and kind. One issue was that the entrance door could be locked without a key, just closing the door. Unfortunately, we accidentally left the keys inside the lock and couldn’t get back in, even with a spare. When we contacted the owner, he was incredibly helpful—he called his aunt who lives on the same floor. She and her husband came over and assisted us using a hammer drill, and we eventually managed to get inside. The owner also arrived shortly after and replaced the lock so the door could be opened even if the keys were left inside. Everyone involved was extremely kind and patient, and they didn’t blame us at all for the situation.

The lime of the bathroom walls was falling, pillows uncomfortable, mosquito net wasn't working and we had many mosquito bites, the upside neighbors moving the furniture all the time, low pressure of shower. Some dispensable slippers would have been useful.

Bon emplacement, proche du centre Appartement spacieux, grand balcon. Très propre à mon arrivée, lit douillet. Un + non négligeable: le propriétaire Stefano a été très aidant, très disponible quand j’avais besoin de lui il a toujours su répondre assez rapidement. Il m’a donné de bonnes adresses !

Étant fumeuse, j’aurais bien aimé un cendrier, ou alors je ne l’ai pas trouvé. J’avais vu d’autres commentaires sur les voisins du dessus et ça s’est avéré réel ; des meubles qui semblent bouger toute la journée, même le week-end, cependant ça ne m’a pas empêché de dormir la nuit. SAUF que je souhaitais faire une sieste, j’ai gueulé un bon coup et tout semble s’être arrêté à ce moment là. Mais étant donné que ça n’appartient pas au propriétaire, c’est à vous de choisir si cela vous conviens ou non. Parce que le propriétaire est top !
