About this apartment rental
The apartment is located in a central area, just behind Via Etnea (the main street of the city) a few meters from Piazza Cavour.
In 2011 my wife and I renovated and transformed an old house (early '900) in a modern and functional loft. The style is contemporary but we tried to keep the room warm and cozy. An original floor of the beginning of the '900 and a little table are perfectly matched with a mezzanine made with bare beams.
The bedroom is located right on the mezzanine and overlooks the living area.
The sofa can be transformed into a comfortable bed (a square and a half) to accommodate 2 more people and you can also add another bed for a fifth guest to be placed in the living area.
The kitchen has hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, complete with kitchen equipment.
The small bathroom with wc, bidet and wash basin also has a large shower and comfortable.
Wi-Fi access, air conditioning and heating.
The location is strategical, adjacent to the center of Catania, with public services such as metro and bus strolls a few steps away.
Nearby you can find bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, pizzerias, banks, post office.
I will personally handing over the keys and the presentation of the apartment.
Pets considered long term, not just smoking, no pets, non-accessible for wheelchairs.

We really liked the stay in cartania. Marcello is a nice guy who is ready to help any time you ask for it. There is anything you‘ll need for the stay :)

Marcello’s apartment was larger than we expected, which we very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the things necessary to do some home cooking (including olive oil, pasta, etc!).
The hot water was a bit tricky in that it took a long time to run in the shower and would cycle between hot ant d cold, but we eventually figured out how to finesse the faucet handle to keep the hot water running consistently.
Neighborhood location was very convenient for walking to many attractions, and despite it being on a noisy, narrow street, the apartment was very quiet.
Wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this place. To top it off, Marcello was an excellent host—highly informative, quick to respond to questions, and so forth.

The loft is very spacious and clean. The terrace is cozy. The host is polite and descreet. A big store, a subway station and Circumetnea railway are really close. The historycal center is straight down the street.
