Alpine City Studio with AC, garden terrace and much privacy

The owners answered fast to the faulty and damaged hairdryer and brought us a new one, including some small gifts. The place was clean and tidy, and we had everything we needed for our stay.

During the first night upon using the hairdryer we noticed some burned scent, but we couldnt find the source. During the second night the hairdryer in my wives hand sparked and caught on fire, tripping the circuit breaker, thankfully it did not electrocute my wife. With the owners instructions I turned back the tripped circuit breakers. The owners asking for the price of the aforementioned hairdryer, which was not damaged by us, but by a previous renter. The gas sensor flashed blue about every 10 minutes so we had to cover it.

We loved our stay at Alpine City Studio. The private garden terrace is a rare gem in Zurich, and the studio itself was spotless and quiet. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities—the kitchen had everything we needed, and the seamless check-in process made arrival a breeze. They even provided helpful extras like chargers, adapters, and laundry facilities. The location is exceptionally convenient, with a bus stop right across the street and a supermarket just a short walk away. The hosts' responsiveness was a highlight; they replied to every message almost instantly and were incredibly helpful. A perfect, well-equipped home base in Zurich. Highly recommend!

While the studio offers both a double bed and a sofa bed, we found the main mattress wasn't the most comfortable and caused some back pain, which was the only downside to an otherwise excellent stay.
