Great space, good bed, nice location

U need to be very short to take a comfy shower. We had to bend over to not touch the roof.

Absolument tout ! L'emplacement, l'atmosphère du lieu et de l'immeuble (classé). Virginie et Christophe sont de parfaits hôtes, à la fois disponibles et réactifs - merci encore pour m'avoir permis de récupérer mon oubli ! Le quartier est animé et très agréable, je conseille aux autres voyageurs de bien penser à prendre des boules Quiès pour un sommeil parfait. Si nous revenons à Tours, nous serons ravis de revenir !

The name fits perfectly. A Character Apartment In The Heart Of Old Tours. Located on a quiet Rue, just steps away from the main plaza, as well as the Loire in the opposite direction, a stay at this apartment is like traveling back in time. Walking through the gate and up the enclosed stone spiral tower, which transitions to wooded stairs towards the top, you enter what feels like your world traveler friend's place, akin to a livable vintage store with excellent views of medieval rooftops of the past. The older the building, the more at home I personally feel and I was instantly comfortable & slept soundly. Virginie was a gracias gem and check-in was flawless & efficient.

A thorough dusting would be the only thing that I might suggest, but at the same time, it lends to the feel, so it's not so much a dislike for me, as it felt like I had just returned home from some time away on adventures around the world. The stairs and loft will be challenging for persons with mobility issues, which was not a problem in my case.
