Big house for two people. Well sized kitchen for making dinner. The house looked well maintained, especially considering the other places where we have stayed on the island. The window from the living room provided a view over the ocean. The airconditioning was strong enough to sleep comfortably and the beds were comfortable. The person meeting us was friendly and patiently explained us how to use the house and reach the house by car.
The road to the house does not exist on Google maps. Although the owner made a good effort to direct visitors the right way, I still had some trouble finding it. During night time, when you turn off the lights, you will hear insects making loud noises even if you close all the windows. We saw a cockroach and a spider in the house, but that is to be expected on Yakushima island. We were given advice to use the bug spray or fly swatter available in the house.

田舎の親戚の家に遊びに来た感があって良かったです。また掃除が行き届いていて、とても快適に過ごせました。
洗濯機や乾燥機があるのも、連泊だと助かりました。
車のナビだと若干場所が分かり難いですが、静かで海が見える景色も良かったです。
また、屋久島へ行く機会があれば、リピートしたいですね。
Wifiが利用できますが、速度が遅いです。

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Yakushima. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for exploring the island. The house itself was spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly and offering helpful advice for enjoying Yakushima to the fullest. This was truly a perfect experience — 10/10. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the island.
