We stayed 4 wonderful days at the magnificent Michikake House in the south of Kyushu. The house is located in a small village in the countryside next to the stunning beach with a gentle and safe surf, but still big enough to be fun and impressive.
The house is spacious, practical and with a sense of details that gives you a feeling of home. Good futon mattresses and a lovely porch for slow mornings.
The owners are lovely people and very kind, considerate and always ready to help.
We spent time visiting wild horses at Cape Toi, taking surfing lessons at Aoshima, the Udo shrine and then spending time on the beach. You do need a car, and the place is easy to find.
Highly recommendable and we would love to come back!

Beautiful renovated cabin. Lovely owner next door. Well equipped kitchen and stove. Short to a beautiful beach. Many things to explore nearby in great nature.
