Welcome to your personal retreat, which uniquely combines alpine charm and privacy in the heart of unspoiled nature. Here, an oasis of tranquility awaits you, where you can unwind undisturbed and relax completely.
Our over-100-year-old barn has been completely renovated and equipped with modern amenities.
The highlight is the ancient wrought-iron stove, which comes from an alpine hut on the Großglockner. Of course, there’s also an induction cooktop and an electric skillet available as alternatives for those who find the cozy stove too hot. A refrigerator, sink, and, of course, dining and cooking utensils are all provided. Guests sleep in the loft under the roof.
The Romantikhütte was built with a special focus on natural materials such as stone and wood to create a harmonious connection with the surrounding nature. The cabin is stylishly furnished and offers you the highest level of comfort while you relax amidst the fascinating natural landscape.
After an exciting day in nature, you can enjoy the magnificent natural landscape in the garden. The peaceful atmosphere of our lodging allows you to escape the stress of everyday life and recharge your batteries.
Our lodging is the perfect starting point for outdoor activities and moments of relaxation. Whether you’d like to go hiking in the surrounding mountains, explore the breathtaking beauty of the Mölltal Glacier, or simply relax in nature, you’ll find plenty of opportunities here to experience the beauty of the area.
In just 4 minutes by car (1.8 km), you can easily reach the valley station of the Glacier Express right from your front door. In another 8 minutes, you’ll arrive at Austria’s most snow-reliable glacier ski resort, located at an elevation of 2,230 to 3,120 meters above sea level. The Mölltal Glacier is covered with artificial snow year-round, guaranteeing 100% snow reliability throughout the year. The Mölltal Glacier is the official training area for the Austrian Ski Team and the German National Alpine Ski Team. Ski teams from all over the world take advantage of the optimal conditions on the Mölltal Glacier to prepare for the World Cup, even during the summer months. It’s no surprise that international World Cup teams choose this training region.
The Innerfragant Waterfall, which is within sight and just a 3-minute walk away, offers a refreshing break in the summer.
