Overall the property was very nice and we enjoyed the stay. There were a lot of cobwebs and the unit smelled musty. We were not prepared for no AC in July. We lost power for almost 24 hours which meant no running water. That’s a problem, specially since we had children with us. We lost about 150 worth food and had to go buy a bunch of extra water for hygiene needs. I know the power outage is not the fault of the owner but should consider backup generation, at least alternative solution for running water. When we tried to do a load of laundry the knob in the dryer turned but could not get the timer to work so we just young stuff to dry. Again, all considered we did enjoy our stay.

We have been coming to Canaan, for skiing over 50 years, for hunting over 40 years, and its become a top favorite. We've enjoyed many houses but we've settled on Timberstone as our fav. We'll be back in 2025.
