The Art Nouveau villa is situated on a small hill in the heart of Zinnowitz on the island of Usedom. With an average of over 1,906 hours of sunshine per year, Usedom is one of the sunniest regions in Germany and on the Baltic Sea. The 700-year-old town of Zinnowitz is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the island. Not only have renowned painters and filmmakers been drawn to the island, but famous authors such as Kurt Tucholsky and Theodor Fontane were also fascinated by it. In a 1863 letter to his wife, Fontane described his feelings with the words: “One has peace and fresh air, and these two things fill one’s nerves, heart, and lungs with a quiet delight.” Zinnowitz and its surroundings offer a wide variety of activities for everyone. Both the forest and the beach provide ample space for hiking and exploring. Right next to the building is the yellow theater “Die Blechbüchse.” The town also features an amber spa and a club cinema. A defining feature of Usedom is the numerous towns connected by a long, sandy beach. In Zinnowitz, you’ll find a pier with a diving gondola right on the beach. There are also many interesting recreational activities nearby, such as Karl’s Adventure Village in Koserow or the Historical-Technical Museum in Peenemünde.
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
