Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very quiet and cozy at night, sons 1st time at beach was perfect!!

This is an old beach house. The floors did not bother me but I could see that around the baseboards could be cleaned up a little, and the stairs carpet could be cleaned, but aside from that, this place was VERY CLEAN.This kitchen is not made for more than one person, but I expected that. For 3 adults & 1child, it was perfect. Had all you would need to cook. Had a broom, several hand towels. There is not a typical kitchen table, but the half moon looking counter over the stairs has hinges to flip it over & use as a table if needed. Bathrooms very clean. Washer and dryer seemed new. Beds were so comfy. Wish the couch was bigger but plenty of seating with the chairs. Bedrooms bigger than expected. Screened patio was nice! AC works like a charm! The stairs outside did seem a weak in spots. I would not stay here if you have young kids. The steps inside would scare me for little kids. There was a little musty smell like a smoker lived there years ago. Overall it was perfect for what we paid and will be returning!

I’m not typically someone who leaves negative reviews, but I do believe in providing honest feedback—especially when a property has so much potential, as this one does.
First, the positives: the location truly can’t be beat. It’s just a very short walk to the beach, which we loved. The convenience of texting with the rental company was also appreciated—it made communication easy and accessible throughout our stay.
That said, there were several maintenance issues that impacted our experience. Upon arrival, we noticed the front door was broken and submitted a maintenance ticket right away, but unfortunately, it was never addressed. Because of that, we delayed reporting other issues, but want to share them now to avoid any misunderstanding:
The water never got hot throughout the stay.
The master bathroom sink did not drain properly.
The shower door in the master and the sliding door to the covered deck were extremely difficult to operate.
The handle on the cabinet in the master bedroom below the TV was broken.
Trim throughout the house was damaged upon arrival (we took photos).
The lights in the master bedroom didn’t work.
No apologies were offered for these issues, although the company did thank us for letting them know when we texted them later in the stay.
We want to be clear that all of these issues were present when we arrived and hope the property management team ensures they are not mistakenly attributed to us.
This house really does have a lot of potential—it’s in a great location and has a nice layout. With a bit more attention to maintenance and customer care, it could be a fantastic vacation rental.
