About this cottage rental
75 m² cottage located in the countryside where pets are welcome.
On the ground floor: Equipped and open kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, 3 gas and 1 electric cooktop). Living room with pellet stove, a sofa with two seats and two armchairs, 80cm TV, Wi-Fi (fiber optic).
Separate toilet (macerator). Bedroom with a 140x190cm bed, bathroom with bathtub (shower screen), sink, and washing machine.
Upstairs: Mezzanine with reading corner, two small attic bedrooms each with a 90x190cm bed. Baby bed and high chair available.
Adjoining terrace, not overlooked, 50 m², adjoining the cottage with garden furniture and barbecue. Two private parking spaces in front of the cottage.
All-inclusive cottage: energy charges, sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning. Two bags of pellets are provided per week for the stove.
5 km from the Val Joly Tourist Resort, 15 km from the Sars Glass Pottery Museum, and 30 km from Maubeuge. Eppe-Sauvage is located on the Belgian border, in the heart of the Avesnois Regional Natural Park. The town once housed a seigneury, a testament to the village's ancient past.
Today, green and peaceful, the village of Eppe-Sauvage owes its fame to the large Val Joly tourist resort, nestled in the heart of the forest and bordering a 180-hectare lake. You can enjoy sailing, canoeing, pedal boating, fishing, and more. There are also hiking and cycling trails around the lake. The town is ideal for a peaceful vacation in harmony with nature, as well as for numerous outdoor activities, both sporty and casual.
Ideally located, the village of Eppe-Sauvage is perfect for enjoying the tourist attractions of the North, such as the nearby Fourmies Ecomuseum, or the various departmental museums such as the Gallo-Roman site of Bavay, as well as exploring Belgium (Chimay is 16 km away).
