De allervriendelijkste en behulpzame gastheer die in is voor een praatje maar nooit als opdringerig is ervaren door ons. De ligging, tuin, zwembad. Uitzicht op de Toscaanse heuvels. Hulp van schoonzoon bij het vinden van goede fietsroutes.
Appartement en keuken zijn voorzien van alle mogelijke voorzieningen.
Van gastheer begrepen we dat er later dit jaar in het tweepersoonsappartement waar wij in verbleven een 2e slaapkamer wordt toegevoegd.
Als klap op de vuurpijl een bijzonder geschenk: een oude fles wijn met het geboortejaar van mijn echtgenote.
Hardheid van de bedden, maar dat is zeer persoonlijk. Van de gastheer begrepen we dat er op termijn nieuwe matrassen worden aangeschaft.

Het warme en vriendelijke onthaal van de gastheer. De perfecte zorgen van de gastheer en zijn familie. Het uitzicht en de locatie. Het ruime appartement met het grote, mooie zwembad.

An Exceptional Stay – Heartfelt Hospitality in the Hills of Tuscany
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and thoughtfully looked after by our wonderful hosts. They offered a clear and friendly introduction to the property, making us feel immediately at home. Throughout our stay, they remained attentive, responsive to any questions or needs, yet always respectful of our privacy.
The villa itself was a peaceful haven, with breathtaking views and complete privacy. We particularly appreciated the dual dining spaces—both indoors and out—which allowed us to enjoy the beauty of Tuscany at every hour. It’s rare to find a place that balances independence with genuine connection, but here, we had the chance to share a drink or two with our hosts and get to know them on a more personal level. These conversations made our stay not just comfortable, but truly authentic and memorable.
The kitchen was properly equipped and included thoughtful touches like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, and olive oil—small details that make a big difference. In contrast to the rather spartan setups we've encountered at other Booking.com properties, this felt generous, welcoming, and carefully considered.
The swimming pool was pristine and lovingly maintained, set against a backdrop so captivating it could almost be called an infinity pool. The vistas over the Tuscan hills from the water’s edge were nothing short of spectacular.
Excellent parking and reliable internet were also much appreciated. And when it comes to location, we couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore the treasures of Tuscany.
We left feeling grateful, refreshed, and already dreaming of our return. This is a place that’s perfectly suited for families, couples, and longer stays—a truly special home in the heart of Tuscany.
There is truly nothing to fault. For the conscious traveller, this is hospitality done right—thoughtful, sincere, and quietly exceptional. It sets a high benchmark for what tourism accommodation can and should be at its very best.
As someone who was brought up in the finest 5-star hotels in the world, I wouldn’t trade a stay in a place like this for any of those. What this villa offers is something far more meaningful: authenticity, connection, and a return to what truly matters. In a world increasingly defined by noise and surface, places like this remind us of the desperate need for the earthen—the rooted, the real, the quietly extraordinary—found not in grand gestures, but in the simple things most get wrong: warmth without intrusion, generosity without show, and beauty without pretence. From the sweeping Tuscan views and immaculate pool to the well-equipped kitchen and the heartfelt generosity of the hosts, every detail reflects deep care and integrity. It’s not just a stay; it’s a gentle restoration of what travel should feel like.
