One of the best homestays I’ve stayed in! I’m a frequent traveller, and while planning my trip to Kolkata, I asked AI to suggest a good homestay near Kalighat. Mavenoak Dreams came up as one of the recommendations. What impressed me first was that they called immediately after my booking to let me know there was no lift. It’s a small gesture, but it shows they care about guests and believe in being transparent. At first glance, the building doesn’t reveal what’s inside, but as the saying goes, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” The moment we entered, we were pleasantly surprised. The interiors are beautifully designed, everything was neat and spotless, and the room was very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The staff were always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The best part of our stay was the spacious balcony attached to our room. My wife and I spent a peaceful morning there doing yoga and meditation, and it became one of our favourite memories from the trip. She absolutely loved the place I will happily stay here again on my next visit to Kolkata.
