The Waves – Close to Beach – Camber Sands

Great location, large rooms and great to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Nicely furnished, with everything you could want for a short stay. Nice touch to have full size table tennis table for indoor days and items to borrow to take to the beach on sunny days! Dedicated parking.

Water pressure in upstairs bathroom needs attention.

Location perfect for walking everywhere we wanted to get to in Camber sands

One of the reasons we booked it was because there were 2 en-suite bathrooms and 1 main bathroom - 3 couples with a bathroom each. However, the 2 en-suite bathrooms had no power in them so the water came out at trickling pace so we all ended up using the main bathroom, very inconvenient. Rug in living room and top bedroom were trip hazards - after about 3 times of tripping we rolled the bedroom one out of the way. We appreciate constant invasion of sand is a thing at Camber but the rug was full of it. The windows were mucky - lots of seagull poo. Living room sofa full of dog hairs and twin bedroom had loads of cobwebs around the blind - not recent ones. No freezer ice box in kitchen but there was a freezer downstairs in table tennis room. However, no ice cube trays. There was an old ice bag totally stuck to the drawer so cleaning was poor here. So we had to go shopping for ice - nobody wants to waste time doing that when you’re only there for 2 nights. Wi-fi strength very poor. If we all sat on top of the living room booster we could get a signal.
