The property was spotless , it was like home from home very cosy . The bed in the master bedroom was super comfy , they was even fresh flowers and a small hamper in the kitchen which had Biscuits, tea and coffee . The owners had even taken the trouble to leave some fresh milk in the fridge .

Welcome pack which was nice to see for once. Very clean and cosy. Log fire was a bonus. Close to all amenities. Parking permit a big plus. Lovely outdoor area.

The cottage was in a great location with shops, restaurants etc all within easy walking distance; and parking outside. It was very well equipped, very clean and comfortable. And thoughtful extras such as milk, biscuits etc were very welcome.
On our visit of three days the electric shower was only producing tepid water which wasn't too pleasant or ideal! Hopefully this will have been mended by the time the next guest comes along. (It was reported).

The cottage was a lot than the pictures online suggested, which is the opposite of what one often finds. I could have lived in it without changing a thing - exceptional.
The PIN code I was sent from Booking.com was wrong so I had to call and stand outside the property for 10 minutes waiting to speak to someone at Sykes Cottages. Once I got through, the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and gave me the correct code straight away and we got into the cottage.
