Hollyhock

Exceptional accommodation which was beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable and elegant! Lovely bathroom with walk in shower and a fully furnished kitchen with everything to hand. The owner left fresh bread, milk, biscuits, freshly made 'millionaires shortbread' (yum) and ripe tomatoes from the garden!! Bedroom was large, great furniture for putting everything away and a super bed! Outside we even had our own private garden with magnificent views.

Television channels were a little challenging to understand but we used mainly apps to catch up on some previous series which was perfect. Even included a DAB radio...perfect!

Hollyhock was exceptional, everything was superb and had everything you could possibly need. The information provided about local areas was a huge help. Being welcomed by the hosts was a lovely touch.

Hollyhock was in a great location for central Tavistock and easy to find and park on the drive. The living room was large and cool with very comfortable sofas. The bedroom and bed was really comfortable, lots of space. The hot weather made the room quite warm, but that couldn’t be helped. Maybe a fan would be a nice addition. The kitchen and bathroom were also large and fully equipped! The owners were really helpful and let me charge my EV, with a little welcome gluten free cake too, milk and lemonade!

Excellent and beautiful property, very tastefully decorated and well equipped, a lot of thought has been put into it. Very spacious too and Kim and Ian were on hand if needed, very friendly and helpful, lots of suggestions for good dog walks/places to eat etc. A very delicious cake was awaiting our arrival as well as some milk, tea bags and coffee. Location great too, Tavistock is a lovely town and easy to use as a base for the rest of Devon or Cornwall. We had a lovely week here and hope to return next time we’re down this way.
