Pullman Singapore Hill Street

The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The location was great. The yoghurt was wonderful. A great choice of drinks

Hot food at breakfast could have been hotter. Evening food options were a little bit limited.

Rooms are quite nice and the personnel also. The location was perfect for me (I was there for work) but also between the touristic areas and the financial district. I also found breakfast very good and the swimming pool is quite nice as well. It's a good value proposition, considering that it is Singapore.

The restaurants. The Mexican restaurant is not as good as a typical Mexican restaurant and the one at the bottom floor is unfortunately American cuisine, which is not a particularly famous one. Everything is just too heavy and there are not so many options in the menu if you are going there for a few days. At least there are plenty of options nearby for food. Also they have very nice gym equipment, such as the bicycle, that unfortunately is outdoors. That would be great in other city, but considering how hot and humid Singapore is all year around, this equipment should be inside the gym, with air conditioning. I missed a working area that is not always booked (although the hotel kindly found a nice solution for me) and spa/massage offers.

Lovely lay out and the restaurant MOGA was exceptional

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was very clean, and both check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. I especially appreciated the housekeeping manager, who took the time to ask for feedback about my stay and genuinely cared about improving the guest experience. The location is also excellent. Close to public transport and shopping, making it a great choice for first-time visitors to Singapore.

While the hotel itself was comfortable, I was disappointed with the F&B service, especially considering this is a five-star Pullman property. During my first breakfast, I had trouble using the coffee machine. Another guest also tried to help me but couldn’t figure it out either. I asked a waiter if he could assist me, and his response was, “I’ll show you just once,” delivered in a dismissive tone. As it was my very first time using the machine, I found this comment unnecessary and unwelcoming. In hospitality, guests should feel comfortable asking for assistance, especially when using unfamiliar equipment for the first time. Another disappointing experience happened one evening. I arrived at the rooftop bar at around 11:10 p.m., shortly after it had closed at 11:00 p.m. I completely understood that the bar was no longer serving. I politely asked whether it would still be possible to buy a bottle of beer to take to my room. The answer was simply, “The bar is closed.” While I respected the closing hours, I would have expected a more service-oriented response, such as suggesting room service or another option if drinks were available elsewhere in the hotel. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive. Neither of these situations was a major issue on its own, but together they left me with the impression that the service lacked the warmth, attentiveness, and proactive approach I expect from a five-star hotel. Unfortunately, because of the F&B experience, I don’t think I would choose to stay here again.
