We found the wooden stairs to the bedroom rather challenging, probably due mainly to our ages (80 & 76!). Younger people would not have this issue.

Not a complaint but more of a request - inclusion of washing up liquid under the sink would be good as we needed to give some pots a heavy clean (we love doing a cooked breakfast as there's an awesome butchers in Burley)

I stayed in apartment 3. The kitchenette has a 2-ring hob and microwave, a kettle, a dishwasher and a fridge. Small but met my needs. There was a supply of coffee and sugar sachets. Not sure if teabags were there. Milk pods were in the fridge.
The bedroom is up an open-tread staircase on a sloping-roofed mezzanine. The stairs have low-level lighting which can be switched on from the bottom and top of the stairs. Because the bedroom sits above all of the kitchen, bathroom and lounge/dining area, it is a good size. A very comfortable bed and bedding with a bespoke fitted wardrobe and ample cupboards/shelves for a short stay. The lounge area is small but has a 2-seater sofa, a coffee table and large tv. There is a 2-seater dining table in the same area with a full-length mirror close to power sockets - something I always look for so I can dry my hair near a mirror. So many places do not consider this. The bathroom has a large shower and the water was always hot. Towels were provided also.
I initially missed the ‘help yourself’ supply of shower gel and other amenities on a window ledge in the outside corridor. An iron and ironing board are available to use, shared amongst the 5 units. I saw these in the corridor so assume that is the case!
It is above a pub, however the noise did not bother me as it was mostly music and the sound of people chatting and laughing, and the pub shuts at 11. Although situated on Main St through the centre of the village, the street is quiet at night. No rowdiness on the Friday and Saturday nights I was there. There is a Co-op supermarket 2 minutes walk away and I noticed some cafés, restaurants and a Chinese takeaway, though I did not use them. There are no parking restrictions on the road outside and I was able to park early in the day and after the pub had closed. It did fill up during the day but I believe it might be possible to park at the community centre opposite if there isn’t a function on.
The only slight challenge was the entrance door at the side of the pub and the apartment door, both of which auto-closed somewhat enthusiastically! I struggled a bit carrying in my case as I needed to push hard to hold the doors open as I went through. A minor thing not affecting my stay. At least there is no chance of the doors inadvertently being left open.

The bed is very comfortable. The shower is quite powerful and hot. The manager is very helpful and quick to respond.
The stairs as you go into the building. I would like a mirror in the bedroom.
