Studio with an independent entrance and private outdoor space not overlooked, located in Ondres in the south/west of the Landes at the gateway to the Basque Country,
in a dead end in a quiet residential area,
close to cycle paths which will take you straight to the ocean or into a magnificent forest of pines and cork oaks.
Classified as 2-star furnished tourist accommodation by Gîtes de France.
Housing :
Its new bed (2024) for two people, with television and internet access,
its kitchenette with a hob, a microwave oven, a fridge/freezer (Sound insulated), a Krups Dolce Gusto coffee maker, kettle.
and its private shower room/toilet.
Non-smoking accommodation.
Sheets, tea towels and towels provided, if you wish.
Passenger access :
Travelers will have access to a private studio of 17m2 with an independent entrance, adjoining our contemporary Landaise-style house located in Ondres,
you will access it via the main driveway,
our land is enclosed with an electric gate,
no vis-à-vis between the studio and our house,
your vehicle can park on the property.
Location
Accommodation located in Ondres in the south/west of the Landes at the gates of the Basque Country,
on the Vélodyssée (1300 km cycle path linking Brittany to the Basque coast)
as well as on the way to Saint Jacques de Compostela by the west coast.
Ideally placed to forget the car and go on foot or by bike to the beach as well as to the supermarket or the market.
Every Sunday morning on the village square, you will find the market with local products.
On the beach 3 restaurants and a guinguette bar with ocean view.
Two bicycles are at your disposal to go to the ocean.
Ondres beach 2.5 km away with free parking (shuttle near the studio and supervised beach during the summer season).
Bayonne center at 10km (possibility of bus or train to get there, station at 470m)
in a dead end in a quiet residential area,

The hosts were friendly and caring. The room was clean and neat, attached to the hosts home yet private. The beach was a short ride away, and the experience was like immersion in an everyday neighborhood.

It was great! It was a short way to the beach, parking can be difficult, but with the bikes its really easy and comfortable. There are many activitys around if you like some action. The hosts are really nice and welcoming and super flexible even if you have something in short notice.
