BEACH ACCESS
Casa Playa is located on the north side of West Beach Boulevard, directly across the street from the beach and you can see the beach! You have beach access at the 12th (3 mins,
POOL? You bet!
BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides). 30x18x3-5' rectangular bit of bliss!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors!
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.
No smoking please. No pets.

Your home was beautiful and was so nice for my big family. We had room to spread out and enjoy the patio and pool area. I did let the management company know about the microwave on the east side. Never worked well. We didn't want to make anything worse so those that needed to warm something up just came over and used the west side. It wasn't a big deal for us since we didn't use the microwave much anyway. I just wanted them to know for the next guest. Other than that, the home was perfect for our needs and close to the beach.
Thanks much for letting us stay at your place for the week. Many special memories made!

We rented both sides for a family vacation with many aunts, uncles and dozens of cousins! The home worked out so well for our family! The fact that each room has its own bath is the best thing EVER and a rare find! The home had so much space, each side with 2 living areas to hang in AND each had a sofa bed! We would wake up and find the teens hung out too late and fell asleep together in the sofa beds!The pool area is super spacious as is the covered area right next to the pool. We played many games there, out of the direct sun and rain at times. Spent most of our time here or in the front patio/balgony, looking at the dolphins in the ocean right across the street! The home was clean and had everything our large family needed. Everyone loved this home!We loved the area - ice cream. A small grocery and a kitchen/bar just a block away. If we visit Gulf Shores again, will definitely book again!

We stayed in both sides of Casa Playa (the east and the west). It was so big. 12 bedrooms and we were all able to spread out. Having 2 kitchens and living rooms, and the connecting door, was very nice. It was also nice that you could go from side to side on the main level deck. We have plenty of room for all of us, but could get away from each other too! :-) We hhope to return in the future when we all get together again, and I will look at you all for a smaller place when we come back with less of my family. Highly recommend Casa Playa and Bama Beach Houses!
