The property was perfect for our needs. We liked quaintness of the older home. We found our bed very comfortable and loved that we could watch various streaming services on the TV.

Older home but comfortable and plenty of space. Host was very responsive. We had a great weekend.

Compared to the city apartment we have, the house and area are very beautiful and peaceful.We did have issues with the kitchen light fuse pop a couple of times. We also had a lot of issues with fruit flies and tied to control it with apple cider vinegar and dish soap. The electrical wires were also turning off and on the lights in the house.

This is a beautiful, old home with so much potential and set in a great location. Unfortunately, our stay was shortened as some of the pictures misrepresented the actual condition of the home. Ex. we passed the home the first time because the landscape was so overgrown, which was not the case in the picture. The mailbox was laying on the ground, so we missed the address. We did not have to use the lock pad because it was already unlocked and on the first full morning, the neighbor walked in the front door, holding a red snow shovel. The blind in the master bedroom was actually a bed sheet draped over the rod; there was very little water that came from the first-floor restroom sink. The washer and dryer were located downstairs, where there was a section of the bottom stair, missing and no string to turn the lightbulb on over them, lacked overall cleanliness, Paint was peeling from 2 of the bedroom ceilings and walls, switch plates were missing from outlets, in the family room one was not usable because it was too far in the wall to hold a plug. A long vine from outside the window of the dining room had grown through the windowsill and into the house. My family did not feel comfortable, and we received a partial refund and paid for a hotel for the remainder of our stay. The owner was open to my concerns and was easy to reach. Again, there is nothing wrong with old and this property could be amazing. It just needs some love and attention and for the neighbor to knock.
