Nice homestay situated in a dead end, easy walking distance to city center and bus stand. The room was clean and comfy, you are offered tea and coffee, a boiler for water, and also access to a shared kitchen. It was a bit cold at night and the hosts bought a blanket for me which was highly appreciated. They also give many advice for Kandy.
Constant noise from neighbors starting 6 a.m. every day, impossible to sleep later and rest a bit more - they work/ build the house, yell, wash tones of dishes in the garden, right next to your window. Also the room has some mold, which makes it a bit expensive for the price I paid. I now stay in a similar room half price, so you do the math.

orchard house is centrally located, just off the main road. The rooms don't have views but are clean. The bathroom was lovely with a very stron hot shower. The owner was lovely, and met us when we checked in.
No views, a small outside area to suit but didn't have anything to look onto ie plants
