Meadows Sheffield 1

Loved the location right on the creek, as we could sit on the grass listening to the sounds of the water. We liked the large living/sitting area and large kitchen table, so everyone could eat together. Appreciated the valet carts to bring our things up and down in one trip.

Needs some updating. 1) There was no air conditioning and our first night was very hot and sleepless. The bedroom with two twin beds had no windows, only a patio door which would have been fine except there was no screen on it so couldn't keep it open all night due to mosquitoes. BOTH patio doors need screens! 2) Why on earth did they have a VCR? 3) A couple of the lamps flickered when you walked by, indicating an electrical issue, even though the bulbs were screwed on tight 4) The switches for the ceiling fans didn't work with the switches, we had to use the pull chain which was dangerously short! Again, electrical issue 5) Not enough glassware~advertises it sleep 8 but there were only about 5 glasses. Also more serving and/or some soup bowls. There were only small cereal bowls 6) Salt shaker was empty when we arrived. Minor detail but details matter 7) We found food and wrappers under the bed from previous renters 8) Grill by the pool was nice but empty of propane 9) Needs a new electric kettle
