It's a really cosy little bee themed caravan / lodge to stay in. I loved that I had my own little area (a separate field) where I could park my car and where my lodge was. I'm a massive fan of private space so this was perfect. The bed was super comfortable and I was grateful to have my own toilet too. There is also a radiator too which helped on the super cold evenings! It is such a lovely place to stay, the staff (especially Elsie and the boys) were super hospitable and asked if everything was ok. There are animals on the farm too that are super friendly! I sat outside on my own table and chairs and enjoyed an absolutely stunning view. I had frequent visits from Kevin the peacock, the cockerals, chickens two lovely dogs (Pebbles and Mabel) and two super fluffy cats (Sylvia and DeeDee). Throughout my stay I felt so welcome but at the same time my privacy was respected. It was nice to have a change in surroundings and hear Kevin sing the song of his people most mornings to wake me up - when do you normally have a peacock wake you up in the morning? Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, the company, the views and the accomodation. Thank you! Ps. Hopefully I will be back in the future. PPS. Elsie should get a raise! She works so hard!

There isn't a shower in the caravan but I guess there's no space for one. There is one not far away though which you share with the campers. The fridge is outside of the lodge (again no space for it) but it's within close proximity. I would say this lodge could fit two people but it's a little bit of a squeeze (I came for stay as a solo person).

Provided our own breakfast but bought free range eggs from the farm. It was lovely to sit Al fresco amongst the farm animals and appreciate the wonderful views. The proprietors were extremely helpful and friendly.

One night the water supply was intermittent because it is supplied by a spring and the storage facility may not be adequate for the numbers camping. Better signage to the property would have been helpful.

Cute little hut. Good views. Great location. Friendly cats and turkeys.

Set behind the farmhouse in a field shared with broken machinery, cars, dilapidated boats and other detritus. Very small (but that’s ok!). Didn’t meet anyone (but booked earlier the same day so maybe they were all out.
