Goethe House in old town Zürich

The apartment is inside an old building located in the middle of the old town. It is very well decorated and it is obvious that every small piece of decoration has been chosen carefully. The apartment has two ACs which was very important on this heat wave. Kitchen had all the dishes and equipment required for home cooking and bed is comfortable. The location is great and all shopping streets are closed by, coop for grocery and the river for a beautiful night view. The owner was very helpful and answered every question and assisted when necessary. Bottom line 10/10 The photos in booking tells it all. Beautiful, romantic and authentic place. Unique.

Although location is great for walking around, getting to the hotel by car or Uber is impossible. Only taxis are allowed, keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Although we were full, we walked with the luggage 5 minutes from the nearest parking lot, not ideal but worth the authentic old city atmosphere.

Location: The historical building is at the heart of Old Town Zurich, right opposite St. Peter's Church. Many of the restaurants and shops recommended on the Internet are within 100 metres of the apartment. Equipment: The interior is quirky (in a good way) but newly refurbished and comes with aircon units. Service: The host is very approachable and helpful throughout the stay.

Excellent location and host is really amazing

Great location and beautiful apartment with lots of character. The decor and furnishings are modern and very comfortable. The host met us in person to answer any questions and was extremely accommodating especially to make our stay comfortable during the unprecedented heat wave.
