Realkasa Carro 7 Apartment

De locatie van het appartement is ideaal. Midden in het centrum. Aankomst was gemakkelijk.

Er was geen waterkoker aanwezig en nogal weinig wc papier.

Three people stayed there comfortably. Marco met us in front of the apartment and gave us the key. He also recommended some nice restaurants. The apartment is in a perfect, quiet location. It might have been nice to have some small essentials like coffee, shampoo etc. available. There’s no elevator in the building, but we didn’t have any trouble climbing the stairs but this might be an issue for some people.

Zentral gelegen, mitten in der Altstadt. Alles was man benötigt in der Unterkunft war vorhanden. Sauber und Ruhig. Alles in der Nähe. Gaststätten, Geschäfte und Museen.

Host met us at the property on time and helped me carry a large bag up several flights of stairs. After check-in we realized the WiFi did not work and he returned immediate fix it. We needed to have something shipped to us and the host offered to let us send it to their office - and then he generously ran it over to our apartment. The apartment was in a great spot - close to everything ( sights, restaurants, markets…).

At prior apartments there have been baskets with some “basics” (some cooking oil, a bottle of water, a light snack) - not a big deal, and there was a market close by where we went to buy those things. The one exception was the total lack of PODS for the coffee maker (a 'CafeItaly' that uses a nonstandard POD that isnt sold in any of the markets) - they are only sold by the manufacturer and we eventually found their store near Piazza Maggiore 2 days before we left. The BIG negative was the horrible smell of “waste water” coming from the shower drain every morning, and sometimes during the day- we texted the host and didn’t even get an acknowledgment. Fortunately we discovered that running the shower for several minutes and keeping the window open eventually cleared the smell - but still not a great way to wake up.
