A wonderful place to stay. From the warm welcome to the beautiful bedroom and facilities, the lovely surroundings and excellent location. It was my 2nd visit but hopefully not my last, as it is absolute pleasure to stay here. Thank you Marie & Joe, for your warm welcome and gracious hospitality. You set the bar very high as hosts.

Basic . But everywhere is pricy now . Really good location.

Charming and cozy, this B&B in small and lovely town of Tullamore (minutes from the train station) was like comfort food after spending most of our trip in larger Irish cities. Spotless and quiet, it was the relaxing afternoon/evening we didn't know we needed. The owner/operators were beyond helpful and kind, and big bonus points for the property's adorable security guard -- a small rescue pup named Buddy. (We wanted to steal him.) The little downtown was filled with good food, great coffee/desserts, and friendly locals. We walked from town to the B&B, and it was the greenest and cleanest smelling little place I've ever visited.

NOT the fault of the B&B, but know that the FreeNow app, which was our main/only connection to calling for taxis, did not work in the area. We weren't prepared. Suggestion: in advance of your arrival there, find one or two local companies and call them the old fashioned way to book rides. Also discovered you can pre-order a driver (even back to Dublin $$$$) through the Booking.com app.

Das Frühstück war leider alles sehr dürftig. Kein Rührei, keine Bohnen, wie ich es erwartet hätte. Zwei Tage hintereinander schimmeliges Toast. Zum Glück gab es eine Alternative. Die Kaffeemaschine streikte und man war komplett auf sich allein gestellt. Wer keine Hunde mag, wird beim Frühstück ein Problem mit dem aufdringlichen Hund der Gastgeber ein Problem haben. Das Auto kann nicht immer direkt vor dem Haus parken. Man muss es, wenn man Pech hat auf die Straße stellen und ca 100 Meter zum Haus laufen. Für gehbehinderte Menschen kann das zum Problem führen. Alles in allem würde ich dieses Haus nur bedingt weiterempfehlen.
