I recently stayed at Casa Clara in Pontremoli, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The apartment itself is lively and full of character—spacious, bright, and thoughtfully equipped, making it feel like a real home away from home. With plenty of room to spread out, it had a warm, welcoming vibe that made every evening enjoyable, whether we were cooking together or just relaxing after a day of exploring. A huge highlight was our host, Fabrizio. He was incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely kind—going out of his way to offer local tips, quick assistance with anything we needed, and even some great recommendations that made our trip even better. His warmth and attentiveness truly elevated the experience. The location is excellent and couldn’t be more convenient. It’s just a short walk to the charming centro storico, with its historic streets, beautiful architecture, and lively atmosphere. We were spoiled for choice with nearby restaurants serving delicious Tuscan cuisine, supermarkets for easy grocery runs, cozy coffee shops for morning cappuccinos, and various shops all within easy reach. No need for a car once you’re there—everything you could want is right on your doorstep. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located base in beautiful Pontremoli with a fantastic host, I highly recommend Casa Clara. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return! 5 stars all the way.
