Just perfect. Spacious and airy. Beautiful furniture, lovely shower and nice kitchen. Nothing bad at all!
1 small thing - an iron and iron board in the lodge would just be great.

My wife and I stayed for a week in November and liked everything really.
I couldn't rate somewhere higher than this "we would go back" not something we say lightly.
We had a central heating control problem and the site manager was there immediately sorting it out for us,he was apologetic and courteous and resolved it instantly. He even checked the day after if all was still well with the heating.
Oh lastly the site staff where incredibly dog friendly. If you're thinking of taking your dog, don't hesitate.
I'm not saying didn't like, but you have to empty and refill your hot tub daily and it's also wood fired in the lodge we stayed in,so you have to plan ahead for this so it's at an acceptable temperature to get in.
Again not complaining just worth a mention. Don't let it put you off out of the 6 nights we were in it every night.
For clarification there was nothing we didn't like about the lodge or the site or the staff or the hot tub for for that matter

Comfortable bed and good strong shower. Lodge was clean. Large living area.
The advertised hot tub within booking.com and owners pre welcome e-mail was misleading in that it was not a bubbles type spa, only a wood heated tub. During the stay we called to advise on this matter, we there after receive an updated pre welcome e-mail which only then stipulated the hot tub was not a bubble type spa. Booking.com and the lodge owners need to be more explicit about the hot tub experience at this type of lodge.
Lodge is isolated and not within walking distance of any village or town or any amenities.
