Value for money..very good location as it is very close to Taksim Square. Very good communications with the staff even if many of their people dont speak good english.

There is no soundproof so you can hear a lot from the streets...but this is not a problem of the property as generally there is no soundproof in most of the buildings in Istanbul. So if you have sleeping problems just get earplugs.

Very helpful staff and big room sizes

Great location – close to Istiklal Street and Galata Tower. The area is generally quiet (apart from the morning prayers). The host provided laundry detergent.

The hotel did not meet our expectations. Everything is very old and worn out: the carpet and floor lamp are stained. The sink in the bathroom is leaking, and there was always water on the shelf under it. There is mold in the room and bathroom. Very few dishes were provided. Cleaning was a big issue: the bed linen was dirty and even had holes. We had to message the host via Booking to solve problems, sometimes several times. Bedside lamps were cleaned only after the second request. During our one-week stay, water and electricity were cut off once for several hours. There is also a mosque nearby – every morning at 5 am the prayers are very loud. Of course, this is not the hotel’s faulted, but future guests should be aware that it is impossible to sleep through it (even earplugs didn’t help). Overall, we would not stay here again.
