We were pleasantly surprised with Vakasha Lodge, the chalet was spacious and clean and the breakfast was very good. Will definitely recommend.

The food at the restaurant was delicious. Safe and quiet location, nice views of the dam. Boat ride on Lady Mandy barge was great. Great space for kids to run and play. Pools are beautiful.
The chalet was big disappointment, but we were upgraded to a deluxe room after we experienced problems. The chalets should be made self-catering again. What is the use of a fridge/freezer and kettle without any cutlery and dishware. There should at least be a coffee station in each room. The wifi was very bad the first day, but did improve the second day.
