Poolside luxury on Hastings St

The hosts were still at the office so helped us open the lock box and pointed us to the parking information. We would have found it all ourselves but that was a bonus.

The master bedroom has timber slatted blinds but there is an outdoor light permanently on (part of the Sebel property) that rendered the main bedroom quite bright. We sleep with masks so it didn’t concern us but is important for people to know.

1. Location, location, location 2. Comfy bed 3. Has everything you need, except beach chairs..that would have been amazing!

The property itself is great. A few things to consider however: 1. Key pick up is at a different location 30 mins walk away. When flying in with luggage and making use of the shuttle service from Sunshine Coast airport, this is a huge inconvenience. Only option is an uber which is 2-3 times more expensive than the shuttle. 2. There was no communication about check in from the property until less than 24hrs before our arrival. When prompted, there was a series of extremely short and borderline rude, unclear responses. Must have been a bad day for whoever was on ‘shift’ at that time to respond because the tone of the comms did improve closer to check in time. I brought this up at key pick up and the feedback was acknowledged and appreciated. So kudos to the property management for that. 3. Noisy kids in the pool all day. But thats not a reflection of the property. Just an observation of location of the property.

Location was excellent! Meeting up with Leon to get the keys worked out just fine - very friendly and a pleasure to meet!

Either someone physically at the office to pick up the keys from or arrangements with the hotel for us to pick up from...not sure if either are options that can be worked out...but the lock box at the office didn't workout for me.

Great location, great unit for the elderly as on the ground floor.

Nothing, all great. Thinking of staying again next year.
