The beach, yard, and dock are shared with other guests staying on the property. Guests can expect a lively camp atmosphere in the busy season from June through August, with various families staying in other cabins on the property. From September through May, the property and grounds tend to be more private
- Your safety matters. This property features 1 exterior security camera located on the back of the house, facing outward toward the driveway. It does not look into any interior spaces. The camera is inactive while guests are in residence
- The seasonal dock is available Memorial Day through Labor Day. The dock can be used for swimming or fishing. If you would like to use it for any other purposes, you'll need to reach out to the Guest Contact prior to arrival
- While 2 kayaks are available to this unit, a total of 8 adult-sized kayaks, 3 child-sized kayaks, 1 rowboat, and 1 canoe are shared between the rentals on-site. Guests are encouraged to coordinate with each other to share equipment as needed

The cabin was very clean and nicely furnished. Nice view of the lake from the enclosed porch or the lawn chairs outside on the large lawn leading down to the shore. Wish it had been closer to the shoreline, but it was just a short walk, and I knew that before I rented the cabin. The owner was easy to reach with any questions and responded promptly. It was postseason, so it was very quiet and serene. Nice little town of Speculator was just a couple minutes by car with many amenities. There was a nice park in the town where I took my dog daily for longer walks. Everyone I met was very friendly and welcoming. A truly relaxing few days away from city life. The morning views of the lake with the sun burning off the fog were absolutely gorgeous!

Overall experience was very good! It wasn’t totally clear from the ad listing that our cabin was surrounded by several other cabins on the site- so that would have been nice to know. Otherwise, the hosts seemed to have thought of just about everything a guest would need and made things pretty comfortable. We had a great time!

The accommodations were fantastic, the cabin was well maintained and the lake views were beautiful. The owners provided numerous complimentary activities for guests, including kayaks, a basketball hoop, beach toys, tubes, etc. Highly recommended, the only complaint by our kids is that we didn’t stay longer..

We enjoyed our getaway cabin stay on Lake Pleasant. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful - great lawn stretching down to sandy beach. Our host was very communicative and made us feel welcome. We would definitely go back and we highly recommend.
