About this house rental
Ancient farm overlooking the top of a hill with a wide view of the Apuan Alps and the Apennines. It is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, coppices and is crossed by the historic Via Francigena along which, even today, you can enjoy long walks on foot or on horseback, surrounded by greenery between Roman bridges, streams, mushrooms and roe deer. Ideal environment to relax, read a good book and drink an excellent glass of local wine.
The building has been recently renovated carefully choosing eco-friendly materials, mostly found in the area, such as river stones and oak and chestnut beams used for the construction of roofs and porches.
In full respect of the nature that surrounds it, it has been given a clear eco-sustainable footprint with the installation of an adequate photovoltaic system for the production of electricity, while domestic water is produced thanks to solar panels and heating works with wood.
