Hotel Sunset Green

Sehr schöne Lage, mit Terrasse und Blick aufs Meer! Bushaltestelle nur ein paar Meter entfernt! Das Haus innen sehr schön sauber und gepflegt! Das Personal und der Hotelbesitzer sind sehr nett und freundlich!

Nur eine kleine Sache, die Fußmatte im Bad wurde nie ausgewechselt, obwohl sie schmutzig war!

Hotel in location stupenda che domina la baia dei maronti. Camera doppia spaziosa con finestra e balcoe. Panorama impagabile

Manca la tv e il bagno è piccolo.

シャワーとトイレが狭い

The view was fantastic, but it is worth noting that some rooms are on the lower level, so they may not be as good there. We were lucky and had a beautiful view of the beach, and it was lovely to watch the sunrise and sunset from the balcony right next to the bed. We didn't have too much interaction with the owner as we were out a lot, but he was friendly when we did see him, and did go in the room every day to tidy round and empty the bin. Wifi and AC were fine.

There are very few facilities in the room, particularly lacking a fridge or tea/coffee making facilities (although there is a coffee machine in reception but a bit inconvenient to have to go every morning and take back to the room so we didn't bother). It's worth noting there is no TV in the room either - this didn't bother us as we were happy to disconnect and got gorgeous weather so went out most of the time but worth knowing before you go if you do like to have a TV. The bathroom was ok, but as there is no enclosed shower (just a shower mat on the floor), it got very wet, and we had to use the towels to dry the floor and sink. The bed was quite firm, and only 1 pillow each was provided. There were only 2 plug sockets, one of which was in the bathroom. In general, a few additional facilities would elevate the accommodation. Overall, it's fine if you just want an affordable base to explore the island for a few days, but due to the lack of facilities, I wouldn't stay more than 2-3 days as I think it would have become uncomfortable. Not related to the room but good to know before you go - the owner insists you leave the room key whenever you go out - I can only assume this is so we didn't lose it but not completely sure as I've never experienced ths before in a hotel. It wouldn't have been too much of an issue for us, but the main problem was that the key hooks are on the wall in the open reception area, not even behind the desk, meaning anyone could just go in and take it. There were numerous occasions where we went in and just picked it up as there was no one supervising them, so anyone could have done the same. Due to this, it didn't feel safe to leave valuables in the room as there was no safe.
