Es hat einfach alles wunderbar geklappt. Kamila hat uns einen Fahrdienst vom Pier organisiert und am Ende sogar persönlich zur nächsten Unterkunft gebracht. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man benötigt. Da es wie üblich auf der Insel kein Hotel ist, muss man zwischendurch selbst mal fegen oder auch Handtücher waschen. Aber alles ist fußläufig erreichbar und kostet wenig. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und werden uns noch lange daran erinnern. Vielen Dank nochmal für den tollen Service liebe Kamila.

The facilities of the apartment were very good. No complaints about that. The unit was big enough to accommodate easily 4 people with 2 king size beds (1 in separate bedroom and 1 in a loft type of setting). Bathroom was good size and kitchen was overall fine although it lacked a few appliances. Location was also excellent, a breath away from Srithanu, the yoga village of Koh Phangan, where many cafes and restaurants are located.

The most important aspect of a place you are to stay is CLEANLINESS. At least this is main requirement for me and my family. The place was NOT cleaned properly, if at all. Dust was quite obvious on the kitchen surface, behind the microwave not to mention window glasses, etc. Most likely the place was not cleaned thoroughly after the previous guest(s) left it. It was ONLY superficially "cleaned" just before we entered. There were not enough cutlery, the gas stove had an issue, the toaster was completely filthy. After we complained immediately, the owner sent someone the day after to clean better the place and bring what was missing. The communication was between us and Kamila, who was the contact person, via What's Up. She tried to help but up to a point. After the supposed clean up we had to buy our own bleach and other needed items to clean the kitchen area and the bathroom. As our stay was to be 13 nights, we had another clean up in 5 days after the initial one. Well, that did not go well. We found out where they kept the bed linens and towels. It was a storage place adjacent to the bungalow. Open door, full of dust, a place where building materials are stored (see photos attached). The bed linens were kept in that open bag full of dust. Anything could sneak in. We requested the linens NOT to be changed. Better to use the ones we had than put on the bed the dusty ones. We took the towels to the cleaners to make sure we had freshly cleaned towels. When we complained about that we got the following answer on What's Up: I am sorry. It's a private house that hosts you. Not a professional hotel, which by the way, I don't know it exists on Koh Phangan, that every bed shit and towels is stored in a separate bag? We do not have different towels. We were told to have lower expectations and while our complaints were valid "it is not a 5 star hotel, but a private apartment.
