Beautifully renovated while being respectful of the original building. So much character! Also very well accessorized, way more than the typical bare minimum of a few place settings, some cutlery, and a couple pots and pans. It was kitted-out as if you were living there, which let us make the most of the farmers market.
We visited before the air conditioning was installed. It was a bit hot upstairs but it cooled off at night and lots of windows aired things out well. The primary bedroom in the ground level stayed surprisingly comfortable despite the heat.

Visiting historic Bayeux deserves staying in a historic place. This is exactly what we enjoyed in the mansion which had been beautifully remodeled with great attention to detail and provided every comfort we wanted.
