This may be the nicest, most luxurious property in Bayeux!

This property is a beautifully renovated 18th century home in the heart of Bayeux. You can park in the courtyard of the house, off the street. The master bed and bath, living room and kitchen are sensational. They have a washer/dryer to clean clothes. The kitchen is fully functional. For a family, it would be great with additional bedrooms on the top floor. As a couple, we enjoyed all of the extra space.

There is not one thing we did not like. You get what you are paying for-a five star accommodation

everything was perfect. loved all the thoughtful details. the property is absolutely beautiful - everything was designer and excellent quality. you can tell the time and effort that went into the renovation. well equipped kitchen and bathrooms etc.

This place is an absolute masterpiece! It’s been fully renovated with style and comfort, yet it still keeps the soul and charm of the old mansion. From the very first step into the yard, you know you’ve arrived somewhere special. Every detail feels carefully thought-out - from the welcoming scents at the entrance to the elegant wine decanters waiting for you. The kitchen itself is huge, perfectly equipped, and stocked with enough dishes, glasses, and cutlery to host a dinner worthy of royalty, all made effortless by top-class modern appliances. The main room is the heart of the house - bright, spacious, and beautifully furnished. Large windows fill it with natural light, high ceilings add an airy feel, and it is perfect for both lively gatherings and quiet evenings. Comfortable sofas, a generous dining area, and tasteful décor create a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The private backyard is pure magic — lush grass, centuries-old trees, and a barbecue ready for long, cozy evenings outdoors. If you’re planning a trip to Normandy, make this your main base. Once you step inside, you won’t want to leave.

We would return again and again!

The property is stunning and so convenient to the heart of old town Bayeux. We walked everywhere. The home is luxurious, each bedroom with its own bath, a large inviting living room, and enough space that we could gather or each have some quiet time. One evening we cooked in. Unlike many holiday rentals, this home has a full, well-appointed kitchen with enough space for multiple people to cook and hang out sipping wine and chatting. Additionally, we ran into some flight difficulties which put us 3 days behind schedule. The hosts were so understanding and worked with us to make our holiday happen. Merci!

The dreamiest stay in Normandy

This was hands-down the most beautiful and comfortable place we have ever rented throughout our extensive travels. The whole house was impeccably clean, thoughtfully and gorgeously designed with love and care, and perfectly located within walking distance to everything in Bayeux. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need for cooking comfortably at home. Franck, the owner, as well as the management company were extremely responsive and communicative. Franck provided us a wonderful list of recommendations that we used to eat very well during our stay. We didn't want to leave! Would come back in a heartbeat.

Perfect!

Beautifully appointed, elegant and comfortable, this villa made the perfect home base for our family's adventures in Normandy. The host was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. The home was incredibly well-stocked, all appliances are brand new and worked like a charm. We had everything we needed and then some to feel at home away from home. Thank you!

This place is unbelievable! Very unique with old world charm mixed with modern convenience. Great location for walking to different shops and restaurants. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Franck was just too good to us. He made sure everything was in place and we were ok. A great host and made us feel like we were at our own home. Five stars and we will book again.

Old World Charm with modern conveniences

The property was more beautiful than the photos in the listing. This home/mansion in Bayeux was recently renovated with a beautiful chef's kitchen that included top-notched, new appliances and all of the kitchen tools needed for preparing your meals. The enormous living/dining room was charming with comfortable seating and an easy-to-use large television. The bedrooms were well-appointed with nice linens and comfortable beds. The newly remodeled bathrooms were charming, modern and clean. We appreciated the two Miele washing machines, along with the single clothes dryer. We visited Bayeux in March and the weather was cool so we did not use the outdoor garden area, however, it too is very charming. There were four of us (two couples) and plenty of room to spread out. The property is centrally located, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and historic sights. Communications with the owner were excellent, In a nutshell, the property couldn't have been nicer.
