Hotel Miramonte

O nosso quarto não tinha o mural que se vê na foto, mas o restante corresponde à foto; é bem decorado e simpático. A limpeza é excelente. Os empregados são muito simpáticos e prestáveis. Fica muito perto da medina, O custo-benefício é excelente. O pequeno-almoço é quase familiar com produtos locais trazidos a cada mesa (não é buffet), frescos e oferecidos num ambiente simpático e prestável. Tem um parque de estacionamento a 6 euros por dia mesmo ao lado.

O barulho do quarto. Ficamos no quarto barulhento (especialmente à noite) e sem vista para as montanhas. Peça um quarto tranquilo e com vista para a montanha e a estadia é excelente. Duas pequenas sugestões para o pequeno-almoço: fechar a porta da rua para não vir frio (mas resolve bem com um casaco) e os ovos não serem tão gordurosos. Apesar das sugestões, gostei e aconselho.

Emplazamiento, precio y personal. Parking ajeno al hotel muy cercano. Gran terraza y desayuno espectacular.

Algunas habitaciones tenían olor a humedad y, las que daban a la calle principal, eran ruidosas.

Our room (#12) was beautiful, bright, and airy, with blue-and-white painted furniture and plasterwork, and windows with a view of the mountains and the hilltop Spanish mosque. Totally worth hauling our heavy bags up two flights of stairs. We loved the room so much we extended our stay by a night, which was easy since the front-desk staff spoke English well. The beds were firm, just as we like them. The location of the hotel is perfect, just outside the medina on a main street, so a taxi from the bus station can bring you right to the door. (If you’re driving, there’s overnight parking in a lot under the Chinese restaurant a few doors down from the hotel.) The hotel is opposite the back walls of the Kasbah, so it’s a short walk to the main medina plaza, which is lined with shops and cafes. You’ll find the best restaurants off the plaza, such as al Witam, Palacio al Andalus, and Ben Tarik. The Chinese restaurant down the block from the hotel is also first-rate. (We were so surprised to find such good Chinese food in a small Moroccan town that we ate there twice.)

The wifi worked very badly in the room, and our Maroc Telecom cell reception wasn’t good enough for a hot spot. That was a pain because we needed to do a lot of work and trip planning while in Chefchaouen. The wifi was better on the beautiful rooftop terrace (no shade, alas) and in the breakfast lounge.

La chambre au 3ieme étage (sans ascenseur) était minuscule et la salle de bain encore plus. Wc, mini évier et micro douche concentrés dans 1 mètre carré !!! Aucun rangement ni place pour poser ses affaires ou sa trousse de toilettes. On était que 2 personnes mais on se marchait dessus dans la chambre et a slalomer entre les valises!! La literie était pas très bonne
