Tufara Villa a Mare

location of the villa, close to the motorway, makes it a great place for a day trips to all nearby located attractions, like Polignano, Monopoly, or Alberobello. The garden and the grounds outside the house are very pleasant, especially in the evening when the automatic lighting comes on. The house with potential, a nice place to stay as long as you sit in the garden.

the description of the villa suggest that you have stunning sea views, or private beach, which is not true. There is no direct sea view from the property (the best what you can get is on the photo). The direct access to the coast is shared with other villas and nearest beach is a 5 minute walk. What you can get directly is a rocky coastline, not a beach in any sense. A house divided into two floors, each with an independent entrance, so traveling with smaller kids can be less comfortable. The lower floor in the basement requires some attention, it has a musty smell. The house itself has practically no sound insulation separating it from the neighboring house. You can hear the neighbor walking up the stairs, talking, or doing things in their home. So as long as the next house is empty you are fine, in any other case it is getting loud. I understand that dishes often get damaged in rental homes of this type. However, eating off plastic plates or drinking wine from plastic glasses is hardly befitting a house that aspires to be a true villa.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben. Die Ausstattung ist sehr liebevoll und es ist alles da was man braucht.

Es ist nicht erwähnt, das sich ein Teil der Räume im Souterrain befinden. Für uns war es unerheblich, wir brauchten sie nicht, wenn allerdings mehr als 2 Personen die Unterkunft nutzen müssen sie genutzt werden. Leider wurde am letzten Abend im Haus eingebrochen. Uns entstand ein Schaden von rund 5.000€. Eine Versicherung für derartige Fälle gibt es seitens des Vermieters nicht, obwohl nach deren eigenen Angaben nicht zum ersten Mal eingebrochen wurde. Davon wurde uns auch nichts gesagt. Wir hätten sonst anders agiert. Für den Einbruch selbst kann der Vermieter natürlich nichts, es hätten aber Kameras, Alarmanlage oder Ähnliches eingebaut können aber eine offene Kommunikation darüber geführt werden können.

It's a cozy house with a beautiful, large garden featuring two old olive trees. There are plenty of covered areas for relaxing, an outdoor kitchen, and a built-in barbecue. Everything is charmingly decorated with nautical themes. There are two separate entrances to the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
