Safe undergound parking with access to elevator. Big room (Junior Suite) Nice decorations Convenient location close to the venue we were interested in. The staff in the breakfast area was welcoming and kind.

The most uninterested reception person we have ever encountered. He did not stand up from his chair the whole time we were checking in, not even to greet us! He spoke between his teeth so we could barely hear what he was saying to us and we had to ask him several times to repeat what he said, he did not inform us about the breakfast times and breakfast area location (we had to ask him) and he even showed annoyance when he realized that the second ID he was given was my brother's who was staying in another room, because he assumed that he was my husband and never asked to clarify. Imagine it being nightime and going into a hotel with grey decor and white lighting (it may have looked designer nice but felt cold) and having to face an unwelcome and cold receptionist. It set a very bad mood for us. The room felt cold literally and metaphorically. The temperature was low and even when we turned the thermostat to 23 degrees we ended up waking up to a cold room. We found no closet for extra duvets and the one on the bed was thin and small for the bed size. The sheet was also small for the bed and ended up being pulled halfway off during the night. The breakfast could have had more variety, but it was decent enough. There were two pillows for each one of us, but none of them were really comfortable. The bed was nice and large, but aince the duvet was so small and the room so cold we couldn't enjoy the full width of it and has to be close to each other the whole night for both of us to be totally covered and warm. We didn't like the elevator at all. We had to scan our card and choose our floor number for the elevator to be called, which is something we have never encountered before and it felt odd to say the least having everyone who is passing by being able to see which floor you're staying at. We didn't like the dispenser for the handwash in the bathroom. It wasn't hotel worthy, it was like the ones people have at home.

This was my second stay here and my opinion remains unchanged: an excellent hotel in a perfect location. The room is big and modern. The staff is lovely and helpful, and the cleanliness is absolutely perfect! It's located at a main crossroads, so you can catch a bus to anywhere in the city (I took a bus to a perfect pastry shop - the local cakes are excellent, by the way). The city's public transit is impressive, and the nearby mall is just an easy 5-minute-walk. The hotel also offers its own shuttle, which requires advanced booking and is a very convenient way to get to and from the airport.

The short walk to the nearby mall would be nicer if there was a sidewalk. But this is the city's responsibility to build, not the hotel's.
